Secret of Kremlin’s triumph16.10.2011

The truly source of power in the world is money that is possessed by small elite of wealthy people. In comparison to the wealthiest and most popular people in the world, Latvian oligarchs are as insects; however, in their practices they imitate oligarchs of the world. Oligarchs can be compared to sharks that go out for a hunt on regular basis. Yet is anyone able to fight a shark? Maybe, this option should be put aside, since there are positive and negative sides in everything. Constantly expending the field of practice and making profit, each oligarch yields certain benefits to the society as well. Yet we should be realistic in our judgements. Anyone who is skilled in money making, will definitely leave the majority of it to themselves.

The world moves towards evolution and progress. Thus, the world will never return back to a primitive stage, unless a natural catastrophe takes over the globe and stops the development. Therefore, the fight for power will take place throughout the history of humanity. It is not a coincidence that unions are being formed at the global level, preventing eventual acts of massive terror. The rumours are spread out about the formation of Eurasian Union by Vladimir Putin and his clique. Run-ups takes place on regular basis, it is a competition between in the hunt.

Socionics gives and insight into the processes that take place in the leading elite. Politics is a game with certain participants. The names and positions of the politicians may reveal but few things about them in the role play. As soon as we add the sociotypes next to the names, a strategic scene becomes apparent, as well as processes, tricks and hidden agendas. Each sociotype is like a chess figure, which can make only a certain move; however, as we know, a victory is gained when certain figures are engaged in combinations.

Boris Yeltsin

When the powers of the president of Russia Boris Yeltsin (Zhukov) had expired, he announced his resignation in the New Year`s speech of 1999, advising V. Putin (Maxim) as his successor. In memoirs he tells about his excellent ability to find and see all the vital characteristics of a president in V. Putin, the next candidacy for the president.

Vladimir Putin
No doubts, the oligarchs of Russia also had a great interest in the next president. They wanted to see a person who is predictable, controllable, and trustworthy. Moreover, this person has to have such traits so that the Russian nation would grow fond of him. Russian oligarchs invited a political consultancy company from the USA which did a social group survey. As a result, it turned out that the Russian nation needs to have a leader who can take matter into his own hands. In other words, ‘a tough guy’. Multiple candidates were found and researched. Some of them, like Yevgeny Primakov (Zhukov) and Sergei Stepashin (Dumas), were rejected, for they were regarded as being too sensitive, lingering, indecisive, uncharismatic.

Yevgeny Primakov            Sergei Stepashin

Then they turned to study less known V. Putin. As he had climbed the peaks in leadership, being the officer of the National Security Committee and the head of Federal Security Service, he appeared as hopeful for the position of the president. His looks were quite acceptable: not talkative, ascetic, warmth can be seen in his eyes very rarely, impassionate, emotionally persistent, tall, neat, organized, and pedantic. Experienced practitioners of socionics asily  will understand that such a combination of traits can only compile with only one sociotype – Maxim.

Roman Abramovich

Roman Abramovich (Balsak) had played crucial role while sustaining position of V. Putin. He was a well known millionaire, considerable and representable person in the eyes of many Russian regional governors.

 Alexandr Voloshin

Journalist Alexandr Voloshin (Robespierre) explains, ‘Roman Abramovich was very outstanding person who engaged in the formation of the minister cabinet in 1999 under new president V. Putin. All candidates for the minister cabinet had to be filtered through Abramovich. The interviews were held eye to eye with Abramovich.’ One meeting he had swore he had no interest in politics. Giving reply to a remark by A. Voloshin about the visit to the Kremlin, R. Abramovich asserted that he had only paid a friendly visit.

The ‘exploration’ of ministers who had to work under V. Putin was not the unique activity of R. Abramovich. In order to secure his own position and that of Putin, R. Abramovich did multiple serious precautionary exercises. The greatest obstacle was Mayor of Moscow city government, Yury Luzhkov (Zhukov). There were a lot of communists and their influence had to be suppressed. Luzhkov was quite popular at the time and he was also drawn to the chair of president (would you know any Zhukov who admits suppressions or limitations?). Bringing the idea to life, the entire population of Russia had to be introduced with Putin. With an initiative and contribution of Abramovich there was artificially created a new political party ‘Unity’ (should we treat as only a coincidence that there is a political party in Latvia with the same title?). A charismatic person, minister Sergey Shoygu (Zhukov), was elected as the leader of the party.

Yury Luzhkov  Sergey Shoygu

Abramovich had carefully created a protection strategy for Putin. He succeeded to convince people that new party ‘Unity’ should develop throughout the entire country. The electorate in Moscow was eager to see Luzhkov as the president of Russia, since he had expressed such an idea. However, Abramovich had secured a repulse towards Luzhkov making sure, that . Putin has received votes of the majority in regions of Russia.

‘Unity’ formed a serious political power quite fast and efforts and contributions of Abramovich  had paid refunds. Therefore we may conclude that strategical plans on strengthening roles of Putin and Russian oligarchs were composed around 1999.

Right before resignation Yeltsin had gained trust, as well as popularity, fame and disfavour due to the addiction to alcohol and outrageous attitude. His courageous resignation at the New Year’s Eve made people shiver over the uncertain sequence of the upcoming events in the future. Nevertheless, the political scenario was already well thought through. That was the most convenient moment for Yeltsin to introduce his promising successor Vladimir Putin before whole  nation of Russia.

In the groups lead by 2nd quadra, handing power to outsiders is unimaginable, thus naturally the power went from Zhukov (Yeltsin) to a member of the same quadra, Maxim (Putin). This consolidation process was led by Abramovich and Stepashin, both are of sociotype Zhukov.

Thus political party ‘Unity’ in Russsia is under the power if the 2nd quadra, authoritarian and repressive. According to socionics it is almost impossible to take the power away from the 2nd quadra. The reign of the 2nd quadra usually ends only in a result of revolution or war. Societies and countries under the reign of 2nd quadra neutralize people who who publicly expresses objections. Common are cases when people get exiled, imprisonment or mystically vanishing with no evidence.

Boriss Berezovsky    Piotr Aven

In socionics all sixteen types are divided into four quadras, and each of them has a different role in the society. When the members of one quadra meet, they renew energy and courage, which promotes the implementation of their social program. Within a quadra, strong affection, consistent love and easy mutual understanding prosper. As soon as members from different quadras meet, jealousy, betrayal, hatred, lies, pretending and even open revenge appears in relationships.

One of the first oligarchs in Russia was Boriss Berezovsky (Napoleon), who was a friend of the banker and millionaire Piotr Aven (Balzac). Berezovsky himself introduced the promising  Abramovich with the business. Soon after both became business sharks and dealt with millions.

Having found out that Putin is brought to the chair of president, Berezovsky started a fight. Not all the oligarchs of Russia were willing to accept Putin as the president, which can be explained according to intertype relations in socionics. Putin (Maxim) is the governor of Berezovsky (Napoleon). Relations of governance are the most difficult and create a subversive impact in politics and business.

M Gorbachev

Being a member of the 3rd quadra reformators, Berezovsky really wished to continue the refpr,s in Russia that were initiated by Gorbachev (Napoleone). The progress comes into society when quadras sequentially change each other. The authoritarian regime can be changed to liberal regime and democracy only by implementation of reforms. If the progress of society is artificially slowed down. preventing the change of quadra members in the leading positions (from the 2nd to the 3rd), the society stagnates and becomes dissatisfied.

The rule of the 3rd quadra in culture began in 1989 and was started by M. Gorbachov. In Latvia the soviet era collapsed very suddenly; however, in Russia under the rule of Yeltsin and his successors the totalitarian regime is blooming. Russia needs an economic bloom, but this can take place only under the rule of the III quadra.

The fight between Berezovsky (Napoleone), Luzhkov (Zhukov) and Primakov (Zhukov) is the fight between political opponents, the 2nd and the 3rd quadra. Thus, contrary to common rumours, it shall not be considered only as satisfaction of private interests.

Yury Luzhkov  Primakov

For right reasons Dominic Midgley and Chris Hutchins had labeled Kremlin’s clan as ‘family business’, as it is formed from the members of the 2nd quadra.

When Putin entered his chair, oligarchs were disappointed, as it turned out that . Putin was not easily influenced and moved around. That was a tough guy. Putin restrained to react according to advice of Berezovsky. On a very hot summer day in 2000 he called a meeting of approximately 30 oligarchs and announced that they are forbidden to interfere in politics and promote their rules. Since that very day he would be the only person to rule the political stage.

Putin secured the Kremlin’s fortress spectacularly, gradually closing independent national media,  so that nothing could object his authority. Putin successfully accomplished that in the second year of his presidency.

The real reason behind actions of Putin is hidden from public. Socionics explains that main psyche function of Maxim, logics of system, leads him to secure himself against any influence from the outside. When sociotype Maxim takes leadership, quite often are the cases when they build a visible fortress around themselves, and inside this fortress no one is allowed to act differently or express a different opinion. Thus no one should expect democracy if Maxim becomes chairman.

 Boris Berezovsky  Vladimir Gusinsky

Being pursued by Putin, Boris Berezovsky and Vladimir Gusinsky (both Napoleones), had left Russia for good. However, that wasn’t enough. Putin decided to scare . Berezovsky a bit more, so he wouldn’t think of coming back to Russia. Evidence for great and slander offences were collected to be able to put Berezovsky behind bars in a convenient moment.

The differences of the values of quadras ruin friendships in politics. When the position of Abramovich had stabilized, he started talking offensively about his former friend Berezovsky. Berezovsky also points out the difference in characters – he was being honest (this is a sign of a member of the democratic quadra), but Abramovich was never ready to answer honestly (that is how a member of the authoritarian quadra reacts).

Berezovsky openly showed his anger towards Putin; he explains that he is not fighting against oligarchs, but against own political opponents. Putin closed down the independent televisions, securing himself from any threats to his power. All the disobedient governors were soon substituted.

The next step was the limitation of private business. In order to prevent eventual resistance from businessmen and politicians, Putin (Maxim) imprisoned a member of his own quadra Mikhail Khodorkovsky (Maxim). According to the experts, the case against him should be regarded as thrumped-up. It is how Putin took control over the judiciary as well.

Mikhail Khodorkovsky

It is naive to suppose that V. Putin treats everyone equally. There are numerous oligarchs in Russia. However, as socionics predicts, among the elite of oligarchs the most benevolent to Putin are members of his own quadra: Roman Abramovich (Zhukov), Oleg Deripaska (Zhukov), Michael Fridman (Zhukov), and Vladimir Potanin (Zhukov). The only member from a different quadra is Pyotr Aven (3rd quadra, Balzac).

Michael Fridman         Vladimir Potanin          Pyotr Aven                      Oleg Deripaska

As one could expect through knowledge of socionics, the presidency of  Putin was ended, handing over the power to another Maxim – Dmitry Medvedev. The dictatorship of Putin and Medvedev is only slightly humanist than Stalin’s (Maxim). Naturally, as the past 16 years Russia has been dominated by the rule of II quadra, it will not end with democracy. In the spring of 2012 both Maxims might change roles again and, God only knows, if it is the last time.

Dmitry Medvedev

It is evident that in Russia the pick of the leader of the country is based on the advice of science. The logical sociotypes of the II quadra – Maxim and Zhukov dominate it; however, their dictatorship is conservative and narrow. Power preservation is the most important issue of all. This is approved by the director of ‘Mosbank’, Genady Seleznenov, Napoleone: “Putin was not a popular and public person and his rule at the chair of president also didn’t gain much popularity. Yet his job in the Federal Security Office created the impression of a positive person. Young, smart, not talkative, punctual, clear and concise in his assertions. Thanks to these traits it was easy for him to take a leading position. Yet, to be honest, no one realized that he would operate with such a narrow program in the position of Prime Minister.”

Genady Seleznenov

For Latvian politicians the most important things are personal ambitions and victory in the election. The suitability of a candidate for a certain position is not thoroughly discussed, it is based only on primitive conclusions. For example, if a person has had successful career in one position, he will also succeed in a completely opposite one. It is not a secret that among the members of Parliament there are people who provides not any benefit. Therefore rapid changes cannot be observed in Latvia. The country is ‘pulled’ by a few people.

The scenario of the situation in Russia we described before, is a lesson for the ones who take care about the future of Latvia. In a small country where the electorate is approximately 60%, the formation of politics is taken light-mindedly. People make more and more political parties, dividing the society. They don’t analyse the strengths and weaknesses of the candidates, they don’t have a critical approach to the nomination of candidates, since they do it in the last moment and think that anyone can do anything. Therefore, people with weak logics rule in ministries, banks, airport, but citizens are the ones who should pay for their mistakes. Without precautionary analysis, a very respectable doctor is asked to be a candidate for the chair of president, but later shows he does not have a talent in politics and he gains scorn.

In socialistic times there was a very prestige position, the secretary of the party, who functioned in each community and institution.  As a surprise, the most suitable candidates were searched (mostly Esenins). The head of Latvia at the time was also Esenins – Boriss Pugo, Anatolijs Gorbunovs. Do we really fall back if we are not able to find the most appropriate type representatives for competent positions?

The members of parliament and clerks should gain contemporary knowledge about human character. It is how they would become more objective in judging a person’s potential: what are his abilities, and what cannot be asked and expected from him. Socionics tells us about that.

This article was largely based on book ‘Abramovich: a billionaire out of nowhere’ by Dominic Midgley and Chris Hutchins. Experts of socionics have added their view of the situation.
